Best Half Day Fishing San Diego

3/4 Day Fishing

If you are looking to spend a few more hours out on the water fishing, then the 3/4 Day fishing trip is a great option. We have plenty of options to truly customize your fishing adventure for you.

We can stay local and explore many of the incredible fishing spots close to San Diego’s beautiful coastline. We also have packages where we can head out offshore to the big blue or down to the Coronado Islands in Mexico as we fish for a wide variety of fish species.

Full Day Fishing

Our full day fishing trips are truly an all day fishing experience! Where we go and what type of fishing is really up to you. We can stay local, head out offshore, or down to the Coronado Islands. Many of these trips are really dependent on what type of fish you would like to target and where they are bitting at the time.

Species like the amazing bluefin tuna and yellowfin tuna are migratory fish and one day they can be close to shore and the next 40 miles off the coast. So it all comes down to timing and working together to come up with your ideal fishing game plan for your full day adventure.

What's Included

What to bring

How to get ready for the best private fishing charter San Diego has to offer. We recommend bringing plenty of sunscreen as it can get quite sunny out on the water, even on cloudy days the sun is strong.  A hat and sunglasses are always a good idea. The boat rides early in the day and later in the afternoon can call for a sweatshirt or jacket. Wear shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. A small hand towel, trust us, these come in real handy. And please be sure everyone has a face mask.

We have the best fishing gear available on the market for your use during your adventure with us. However, if you have your own fishing gear you would like to bring and use, you are more than welcome to do so. We can even help you set all of your gear for you once you’re onboard.  Just please let us know ahead of time if you are bringing your own gear.

We provide an ice chest on the boat for your drinks, and anything else you would like to keep cold. It is a good idea to bring your own cooler or ice chest and leave it in your car for your fish upon our return. If you would like to bring snacks or an easy to eat lunch you are welcome do so as well.

In fact, on our longer fishing trips like the 3/4 Day and Full Day adventures, we encourage you to bring your own lunch. Sandwiches are always great options for eating while on the boat and fishing. You will want keep your energy and strength up to fight and land all of your fish throughout the day!
